Arts Events

  • "Our Place" ... through our eyes We held a very successful art exhibition at Farsite Gallery. Every child in the school showed at least one piece of their art work. We based our art works on our own community and our pictures showed views from classroom windows, Wellington Harbour, the hills and bush surrounding us, lighthouses, and the Hutt River. Families and friends who came through the gallery to view our art shared very positive comments about the students fantastic art works.

  • "Fruit Fall" Mural Our mural artists have completed their beautiful “Fruit Fall” mural, which has been installed  on the wall by Rooms 8 and 9. The children are very proud of their work. They all learned heaps about shape, colour-mixing, using a ‘clean edge’ in their painting, composition and texture. What clever artists we have at our school!
